Silega started operating initially as a part of YCCD. The parent company was found in Europe with the purpose to help Leadership Development for youth.
2004
Focus changes to corporate learning and development.
2005
First office established in North America.
2007
The concept of our flagship business simulation Silega Epedition™ was developed.
2008
The international expansion started. The first global office outside North America and Europe was opened in Colombia.
2009
Silega Cold War™ and Silega Navigator™ were launched.
2010
The company changes its global brand to Silega. The name is the abbreviation from SImulations and LEarning GAmes. The first group with more than 500 participants simultaneously.
2011
Focus on Leadership Development. Silega Commander™ and Silega Pulse™ were launched. Silega opens the first office in Asia.
2012
Silega starts exhibiting at ATD (then ASTD). Expansion in Latin America. Silega starts providing simulations for leading business schools.
2013
Silega develops its first mayor online business simulation for a leading financial institution. Silega Australia and New Zealand were opened.
2014
Focus on customer service and customer-centricity. Silega Care™ was launched. First Silega office in Africa.
2015
Silega starts participating in the annual ABSEL conference (Association for Business Simulation and Experiential Learning). Silega Innova™ was launched.
2016
Focus on sales. Silega Sales Accelerator™ and the Sales Academy were launched.
2017
Focus on Executive education. Silega’s business simulations are used in MBA programs in leading universities in Europe, North America and Asia.
2018
Continue investing heavily in new products. Silega Talent™ and Silega Activator™ were launched globally.
2019
Record-breaking annual results. Silega focuses on sustainability aiming to digitalize more of our products and reduce the need for printing. Silega Kids™ was launched.

Silega has more than 50 global locations.
